All medical devices, due to their contact with human tissue, blood, or bodily fluids, require extremely high corrosion resistance out of life-critical considerations. Before becoming finished products, scalpels, forceps, and orthopedic implants undergo a series of processes including stamping, cutting, and grinding. During these processes, parts are inevitably affected by high temperatures, deformation, and ferrous metal contamination, significantly reducing the overall corrosion resistance of the stainless steel material. Without deep chemical treatment, there is a substantial rust risk during subsequent high-temperature, high-pressure sterilization or contact with bodily fluids. Large pharmaceutical reactors, saline storage tanks, and transfer piping commonly found in medical equipment must undergo surface treatment before delivery. Since the interiors often operate long-term in high-temperature or chloride-ion-containing environments, bacterial growth or red rust can easily occur if the surface is not sufficiently smooth. While these components may appear structurally simple, achieving a uniform, pit-free near-mirror finish involves many considerations. For these special requirements, Shihuiming has developed a dedicated precision electropolishing solution. This product offers excellent conductivity, is environmentally friendly, and can effectively dissolve microscopic surface protrusions within 20-30 minutes, eliminating dead spots and scratches left by mechanical polishing, substantially reducing stainless steel surface roughness to meet the highest hygiene-grade standards, and thoroughly preventing the risk of chemical residue and bacterial adhesion.
