With the rise of consumer spending, modern households have higher expectations for the appearance and service life of kitchen and bathroom hardware, high-end door locks, and other home products. Home hardware that is constantly exposed to moisture, oil, and household detergents faces the risk of rapid oxidation, water stains, and plating delamination. Shihuiming has developed systematic solutions for substrate cleaning, brightening, and long-term oxidation resistance in the home hardware industry.
High-end faucets, shower heads, and valve cores extensively use pure copper or brass. After polishing, copper parts exposed to air or encountering humid and hot conditions during warehousing and shipping will quickly oxidize, turn black, or even develop green spots. The traditional process of mechanical polishing with anti-rust oil not only attracts dust but also provides only very short-term tarnish protection. To address this challenge, we have developed an efficient copper chemical polishing and nano anti-tarnish system. A brief chemical immersion quickly restores a uniform golden luster to dull copper parts; subsequent sealing with Shihuiming copper passivation agent forms a colorless, transparent, dense protective film on the copper surface. Treated copper parts maintain a bright, new appearance over long periods in simulated bathroom high-humidity, high-temperature environments, significantly enhancing the premium feel and user reputation of bathroom brands.
Kitchen sinks, shelves, and bathroom accessories easily retain water spots and oil stains during daily use. After welding and forming, these stainless steel wire or sheet metal parts often have black-blue oxide scale at the weld seams. Traditional strong-acid cleaning not only produces irritating odors and pollutes the workshop but also easily causes the workpiece surface to turn gray and dull. Shihuiming promotes a no-yellow-smoke, eco-friendly acid cleaning process that quickly removes weld stains while preserving the original color of the substrate. For shelves requiring a high-gloss appearance, we combine electropolishing technology, which not only gives stainless steel wire a brilliant mirror finish but also greatly reduces the surface friction coefficient, making oil and scale difficult to adhere to and achieving an easy-to-clean characteristic for home products.
